Plan Your Visit

Welcome! We look forward to meeting you!

We have all experienced visiting a new place, whether it’s a school, work, or a new church. We welcome everyone from all walks of life into our community! Visitors are welcome to attend and participate in any worship service, Sunday School classes, ministries, activities, and events. What better way to get to know people and learn about this community of faith who loves Jesus by serving others? We’d like to help you to have an idea of what to expect and to feel at ease and comfortable. To learn more about us, keep reading and check out the great ways to get connected through our numerous ministries and events.

clockWhen should I get there?

We have two locations offering a choice of six weekend services with both contemporary- and traditional-style worship experiences. So that you won’t feel rushed, we recommend that you arrive a few minutes before the service so that you have time to get settled, and if applicable, check your children in to Morning Care or Sunday School.

What Should I Wear?

Our worship services are meant as a place to gather in community to praise God, so come dressed however you feel most comfortable. We’re happy to have you join us, and we want you to be more focused on the worship service and the message than what you’re wearing. You can dress up or down at any worship service, and you’ll find that we have a variety of dress in attendance.

Where Do I Go?

Epiphany’s goal is to extend a sincere welcome and kind hospitality to all guests and members. Once you enter the building, greeters will welcome you and answer any questions. At our Far Hills Campus, you may also visit our Welcome Center, located in the Gathering Space, and our hosts/hostesses will be happy to provide personal assistance to help you find your way and provide information about services, classes, and events. Building maps and signage are posted throughout the facility.

What will the service be like?

First and foremost, we want you to feel welcomed and comfortable, so feel free to simply meditate in the presence of God or participate throughout the service. Typical Sunday worship includes prayer, scripture readings, music, a meaningful sermon, offering, and Holy Communion.
How will I know what to say? Printed worship bulletins are available for all services. As you enter the worship area, ushers will welcome you and give you a bulletin outlining the service along with announcements of upcoming opportunities.
Will people know I am a visitor? You may pick your own seat, or an usher can help you find a seat. During the service, everyone is invited to stand and greet each other and share the peace, so please know that you will not be singled out as a visitor. We do not have visitor name tags, but feel free to fill out the Attendance Slip from your bulletin.
Do I have to give a donation? Each week, there is time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings, but as a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for the work that God is doing in their lives and gives Epiphany the means to love Jesus by serving others.

What about my children?

Epiphany is an inter-generational church – a loving place for all ages. Children are encouraged to participate in worship! Epiphany offers interactive, age-appropriate Sunday School programs for age 3 to high schooler during the school year. Child Care is also available at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service at our Austin Campus and at the 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Sunday worship services at our Far Hills Campus.

How do I meet people?

In addition to our greeters and hosts, you’ll find coffee service, and occasionally baked goods, available at both campuses between services if you would like to share in fellowship. Beyond worship services, there are many ways to gather and connect through Epiphany’s ministry, education, fellowship and event opportunities.
