  • October 24
  • December 19
Once we return to blood drives at Epiphany, cookies and other home-baked treats will be needed for our blood donors. Please drop them off the Friday before the drive in the Far Hills Campus Kitchen.

Since 2012:

  • 2,734 people have registered to donate blood at Epiphany, resulting in 2,405 units of blood donated to local hospitals.
  • Each unit of blood has the potential to save three lives, which equates to 7,215 lives in our community.

Helping to Save Lives

Epiphany Lutheran Church supports the Dayton Community Blood Center by hosting multiple blood drives at its Far Hills Campus throughout the year. For over 40 years, the Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services, a not-for-profit organization, has operated solely to fulfill the need for blood, allograft tissue and specialized laboratory services to patients. Through this ministry, blood donors are helping to insure that a 24-hour, reliable and continuous supply is available to area hospital patients.

How You Can Serve

Donate blood. Help save a life. If you are 16 or over, weigh over 110 pounds, and are generally in good health, please consider donating blood. Schedule your appointment at www.donortime.com (sponsor code 46) or you can show up the morning of the Blood Drive.

Volunteer Some Time: Each Blood Drive is possible thanks to those who volunteer their time and help the morning of the event.

Bake Cookies: We provide cookies to our donors. Please consider baking and donating cookies. Simply drop them off at the Far Hills Kitchen by the morning of the blood drives. Be sure to label the cookies for the Blood Drive.
