COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE

Thank you to all who supported the last blood drive with organizing and staffing the event, blood donations, and home-baked items for our blood donors. The Community Blood Center received 46 units, which equates to as many as 138 lives in our community. Your generosity will help greatly during the holidays. The next community blood drive at Epiphany is scheduled for January 6, 2024.

Helping to Save Lives

Epiphany Lutheran Church supports the Dayton Community Blood Center by hosting multiple blood drives at its Far Hills Campus throughout the year. For over 50 years, the Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services, a not-for-profit organization, has operated solely to fulfill the need for blood, allograft tissue and specialized laboratory services to patients. Through this ministry, blood donors are helping to insure that a 24-hour, reliable and continuous supply is available to area hospital patients.

How You Can Help

Donate blood. Help save a life. If you are 16 or over, weigh over 110 pounds, and are generally in good health, please consider donating blood. Schedule your appointment at donortime.com with sponsor code 46, or you can show up the morning of the Blood Drive.

Volunteer Some Time: Each Blood Drive is possible thanks to those who volunteer their time and help the morning of the event.

Bake Cookies: We provide cookies to our donors. Please consider baking and donating cookies. Simply drop them off at the Far Hills Kitchen by the morning of the blood drives. Be sure to label the cookies for the Blood Drive.
