You Are Invited to Join Us This Holy Week!

We prepare our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls for our Lord’s entrance into the holy city of Jerusalem, his passion, crucifixion, and resurrection. This is Holy Week. Where we, along with millions of Christians around the world, will follow Jesus in this mystery of his death and resurrection, and be restored in his grace. We pray that you will accompany each other in this most holy of weeks through prayer and worship. We are excited to be with you in this time as we all walk hand in hand with Jesus through the door of the empty tomb into a new day as children of God and as a church community.

All worship services take place in person, and livestream services are noted.

The Triduum, “The Three Days”

Worshipers return for the services of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil, which actually form one celebration, stretching from sunset Thursday to sundown Saturday. This celebration is also called the Triduum, which literally means “the three days.”

Maundy Thursday Service  >  March 28

The Three Days begin Thursday evening with the story of Jesus washing his disciples’ feet from the Gospel of John, revealing Christ’s true mission on Earth as servant and our identity as Christians in service of others.

Good Friday Services  >  March 29

On Good Friday we remember Jesus’ death and the deep love of God.  The service begins without a greeting; it picks up where the congregation left off the night before. The congregation watches as the light grows steadily dimmer, meditating on the words of Christ and the cross that he bore. Worshipers leave in darkness and silence, waiting to return at the Easter Vigil the following evening.
