Why Epiphany Lutheran Preschool?

To ensure delivery of high quality, academic excellence, we are recognized for our:

  • Priorities and Philosophy
The growth and development of children are the reason we are here. We consider it a great honor, but also an important responsibility to provide academic excellence and social learning as one of the first foundations to your child’s educational journey.  We encourage parents to be involved in our program in many ways. From classroom and playground volunteers to being part of Team hELP our parent organization, there are many opportunities to be involved in your child’s preschool experience.
  • Highly-qualified Team of Staff and Teachers
committed to excellence and enhancing the education, care and confidence of children. We recruit, hire, train, and retain the best teachers and staff based on their skills, knowledge, experience, motivation and care of children. But it is more than a job. Our teachers love what they do and the children and families they serve.  All of our teachers are moms and many have children who have or currently attend our program. Our trained and experienced staff members have passed stringent requirements and background checks and are certified in CPR/AED, first aid, communicable disease recognition, and child abuse prevention. They also have a heart for loving Jesus, serving others, and caring for His children.
  • Curriculum and Interactive Experiences
Our team of motivated teachers combine developmentally appropriate curriculum and utilize a variety of teaching tools and approaches to spark curiosity, promote cognitive development, and build confidence. As one of your child’s first formal learning experiences, we value the time the children are in our care. Your child will learn and grow in a Christian environment, learn the role of the learner in a classroom, grow in all developmental and curricular areas, and have fun! We offer Chapel twice per month with our pastors and music time twice a month.

Every day we focus on core curricular skills: fine and gross motor, language, math, science, social studies, art and dramatic play. A balance of structured learning plus free play and interaction between our staff and children promote intellectual, social, and physical skills while promoting confidence and independence.

  • Secure and Safe Environment

Our preschool classrooms and lobby are locked with a security system. An intercom and camera monitor those who arrive at ELP and access to the preschool is managed by the office staff.

  • Nurturing, Clean, and Well-equipped Facilities
Our classrooms are organized in centers to allow children to learn at their own pace and enjoy independence in choosing activities. Children will participate in large and small group activities as well as one-on-one with the teacher. We provide a morning snack and enjoy being in a church where we participate in monthly chapels with one of our pastors. We encourage you to schedule a visit of our space located in the lower level of the Far Hills Campus.
