Join us for our 31st summer musical as fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.

Meredith Willson’s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation.

You Can Make a Difference This Summer! Become a Patron of the Arts!

Dear Friends,
This year’s summer musical is The Music Man – a story filled with love, “Trouble”, and the life-changing power of music. The drama ministry is already hard at work, and the production team is ready to build the set and hang the lights. As you read this letter, the Celebration Center is filled with the sounds of singing, laughter, and prayer at rehearsals.

This is Epiphany’s mission – to love Jesus by serving others – in action.

Will you please make a gift to help make this musical possible?
Ticket sales only cover a portion of what it takes to produce our summer musical and sustain this long-standing and vibrant ministry, so we have set a fundraising goal of $10,000 by July 1. Will you become a Patron of the Arts and make a gift to support the Drama Ministry and our production of The Music Man?
If you make a gift by June 10, you’ll get the first opportunity to purchase tickets online. I know this show will sell out – so don’t wait! Make a gift today and you can be among the first to buy tickets.
But tickets aren’t the real reason you support this ministry. You support the drama ministry because you know that when someone shines their light on stage, they’re sharing the light of Christ with the world.
Click here to make a gift today. You can also make a check payable to Epiphany Lutheran Church and write “Patron of the Arts” in the memo line.
As the curtain opens and the lights dim in July, you can sit in the Celebration Center, enjoy the show, and know that you helped make this musical possible with your gift.

In Christ,

Jackie Randall, Director
Epiphany continues its more than 30-year history of inter-generational church fellowship, family sharing, community outreach, and individual growth. Over half the actors and families involved are drawn from outside the Epiphany family, providing this ministry a unique opportunity to carry out its mission. The summer musical is self-funded and requires no monetary support from the church. In addition, we support a charitable organization each summer. Combining a free-will offering from the patrons plus a commitment from Epiphany Players, the team annually donates over $2000 to the selected group.
