Hello, Arts Supporter!

The drama ministry at Epiphany is special. Where else will you see performers from age seven to 70+ on stage together? Where else would you find a diverse group of people who join together to grow in their talent and in their faith? This is Epiphany’s mission – to love Jesus by serving others – in action.

This year’s musical is Into the Woods – a story about a fairytale adventure where wishes come true, but they don’t come without a cost. A trove of storybook characters’ paths intertwine as they chase their deepest desires through an enchanted forest. However, once they receive their happily ever after, the unintended consequences of granted wishes unravel their worlds.

How willing are we to take the advantage to further our relationships, careers, etc.? We are human, and we all make mistakes. It is how we grow and learn from those mistakes that gives us more empathy and forgiveness for others.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

As you read this, we are preparing to fill the Celebration Center with the sounds of singing, laughter, and prayer, as rehearsals get underway for this summer’s show.

This is where you can make a difference…will you become a Patron of the Arts and make a gift to support the Drama Ministry and our production of Into the Woods? Your donation will greatly enhance our production and bring to life the extra scenic and lighting elements we are needing for INTO THE WOODS.

If you make a gift by June 10, you’ll get the first opportunity to purchase tickets online. Tickets go fast, and the whole show might sell out – so don’t wait!

However, I know tickets aren’t the real reason you support this ministry. You support the Drama Ministry because you know that when someone shines their light on stage, they’re sharing the light of Christ with the world.

Go to epiphanydayton.org/givenow to donate online. Please make sure you indicate your donation is for Patron of the Arts. You can also make a check payable to Epiphany Lutheran Church and write “Patron of the Arts” in the memo line.

As the curtain opens and the lights dim in July, you can sit in the Celebration Center, enjoy the show, and know that you helped make this musical possible with your gift.

Thank you for prayerfully considering supporting this important ministry that connects thousands of people to Epiphany Lutheran Church each year!

In Christ,
