Celebrate 60 Years

by Pastor Charlie Woodward

As we continue to ramp up for Epiphany’s 60th anniversary celebration, there are many opportunities to observe and rejoice in our rich history alongside each other with guest pastors, a concert and visitors from Germany. Please save upcoming dates and plan to participate! We look forward to sharing this time together with you!

Epiphany Lutheran Church welcomes former pastors to preach at the Far Hills Campus at all Sunday morning services. There will be a reception and time for fellowship offered on each of these special Sundays.
  • Greg Van Dunk – July 14
  • Becca Gummere – August 4
  • Josh Nelson – August 18
  • Larry Hoffsis – September 22
  • Fritz Wiese – October 27
The Gotha Handbell Choir from Germany is on its summer concert tour in the U.S. Epiphany will host a concert on July 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Far Hills Sanctuary. This bell choir started in 1987 with help from Epiphany, and the tradition has continued for 32 years. Please honor this historic friendship with us!

Epiphany will welcome 23 brothers and sisters, ages 15-78, from our long-standing partner church (Pritzier/Vellahn) in Germany July 27-31. Our relationship with their congregation goes back to 1985, four and a half years before the removal of the Iron Curtain and the Berlin Wall. The itinerary details are still being finalized, but there will be an opportunity to greet our friends during their visit.

Finally, please save the date for commemorating Epiphany’s 60th anniversary milestone on Sunday, October 6, 2019. There will be celebrations during morning services and a church-wide event in the afternoon. More details will be provided soon!
