Potluck & Evening Prayer Service

Celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity!

Soup Supper: 6 PM and Service: 7 PM
Far Hills Campus

January 18 – 25, 2018, is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Epiphany Lutheran Church and St. Francis Catholic Church are joining together to celebrate and pray for Christian unity with an Evening Prayer Service with Father Tom Schmidt preaching and Pastor Jay Shailer presiding. This Service is a wonderful follow-up to the discussion series, From Conflict to Communion, which St. Francis and Epiphany co-hosted last year.

Prior to Evening Prayer, we will have a potluck Soup Supper at 6 p.m. to provide an opportunity for fellowship between Catholics and Lutherans. We ask for volunteers to provide soups. All others are asked to contribute either bread, salad, or dessert for 8-10 people. Beverages, bowls, plates, and utensils will be provided. If you’d like to join us for the Soup Supper, sign up to the right, so that we make sure to have enough soup and seat set up. Of course, you are always welcome to just show up to the soup supper. God always provides!

There is no need to sign up if you only plan to attend the Evening Prayer Service.

We hope you’ll be able to join us as Epiphany and St Francis continue to work together towards Jesus’ desire that “may all be one” (John 17:21).
